Phoenix New Media (PNM) is a Chinese new media company with an integrated platform consisting of internet portals (www.ifeng.com), a mobile channel (3g.ifeng.com), and a video channel (v.ifeng.com). Being an internet distribution channel for Phoenix TV's premium content, it also sources content from various professional media institutions, as well as user-generated and in-house produced content. It provides news and information, in-depth report, views, comments, financial tools, interactive applications, and community sharing through text, image, audio, and visual formats. Phoneix New Media caters to diversified and personalized users with services that include news browsing, community interacting and sharing, entertainment, and wealth management of the mainstream community. It also feeds a substantial amount of user-generated content from discussion forums, surveys, micro-blogs, and comment postings to Phoenix TV. This internet-TV combined model enables internet, mobile phone, and TV users to consume rich and premium content wherever they are. Phoenix New Media was founded in 1996. On November 9, 2009, it received a US$25 million funding from Morningside Ventures, Intel Capital, and Bertelsmann Asia Investment Fund. On May 12, 2011, PNM was listed on NYSE. Its total revenue in 2012 was US$1.1 billion.
